Welcome to Fandidate. By using our mobile application and website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fandidate, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or quiz results
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the app
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Upload or share inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the app
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Fandidate and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Celebrity information and images are sourced from publicly available data, including Wikipedia, under their respective licenses.

5. Points, Badges, and Rewards

Points, badges, fan ranks, and other virtual rewards earned within Fandidate have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other real-world goods. We reserve the right to modify the rewards system at any time.

6. Quiz Content

Quiz questions are generated using AI and publicly available information. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all quiz content is error-free. Quiz retakes may be subject to score penalties as described within the app.

7. Leaderboards

Leaderboard rankings are based on quiz performance and are visible to other users. Your display name and approximate location (city/country) may appear on public leaderboards. We reserve the right to remove users from leaderboards for violations of these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Fandidate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Fandidate.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease.
